Security Advice

The Bank will never ask you to disclose numbers of bank accounts, bank cards, or your personal information (Secret Customer Code - password, TAN, etc.)

The Bank's Help Desk will ask only for your User name in order to be able to serve you. Keep your pincode strictly private.

Do not open suspicious emails containing attachments and do not visit links that ask for personal information. Delete them immediately.

Use the Internet Banking Service of Attica Bank only from the Bank's official website (www.atticabank.gr), rather than links from other sites, search engines and emails.

Always make sure you are connected to the Bank's original site (www.atticabank.gr). The Bank has obtained a certificate of authenticity on the Internet that appears each time you visit the e-banking login page with the icon (padlock at the bottom of the screen). By selecting the icon, a window confirming that you are in the Bank's secure environment should appear on your computer screen.

Protect your computer by installing an automatic program to control viruses and Trojan horses and protect it from internet attacks (antivirus, firewall, anti-spyware).
