What is it?

The Malicious Use Timely Notification Service is provided for all Attica Bank issued cards (credit, debit, prepaid) constituting a transaction control system, aiming to protect you against unauthorized use of your card.

How it works?

When significant deviation from the customary commercial cardholder behavior is detected, the service’s warning mechanisms are automatically activated and an indication for transaction authenticity confirmation is triggered.

In such cases, a Bank’s Customer Service representative will call you on the phone to confirm the transaction’s authenticity. If communication is not feasible, for security reasons and until it is confirmed that the transaction does not constitute a fraud case, your ability to perform card transactions may be temporarily suspended.
